When I'm asked what I do for a living, I answer cautiously because I do more than “just one thing”. I'm a Secretary, a Teacher, Web Designer, Graphic Artist, Manager, Administrative Assistant and more.  My life experience, skills and expertice span over several decades accumulating a wealth of knowledge that cannot be acquired by schooling alone. I am a self-starter and pride myself in accomplishing all challenges that are presented to me, without the need of being micro-managed.  

I consistently maintained my skills of the technological changes of the business world; begininning my career as a secretary utilizing shorthand, the manual typewriter and the Dictaphone progressing to the PC, closed captioning (with accurate typing speeds of 80 wpm) while utilizing the industry standard software, Microsoft Office Suite. My interest in the PC and the world of software applications awarded me with career changes to the world of advanced techology.

Because of the constant economic changes I have made career changes, moving into warehouse managment sharing responsibilities of overseeing over 300 Teamster employees within a 350,000 sq. ft. distribution center with over 40 shipping/receiving bays and a multi million dollar inventory and later moving into High Technology Customer Service with fortune 1000 clients such as Fox, CBS, Time Warner NEP Supershooters and others.

Over the decades because of economic down-turns, I have had periods of unemployment, but never breaks in personal growth; weather I was gainfully employed or searching for new adventures, I remained active by volunteering time and skills.
