Born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, I migrated to the Sierras after the October, 1989 Loma Prieta Earthquake which caused major damages to the Oakland/San Francisco Bay Bridge, the Cypress Freeway in Oakland and the Embarcadero Freeway in San Francisco not to mention countless homes and buildings that were damaged and/or collapsed beyond repair.
I actually moved to Penn Valley, CA in 1992 were I became an active member of the Nevada County community. As a director with the Penn Valley Area Chamber of Commerce I was known as "the Voice of Penn Valley" on a local Talk Radio, KNCO. I also was a major contributor to the creation of an historical biography of Penn Valley.
Since the mid 1960's I have been donating whole blood. Because of my passion for helping wherever I can, I coordinated several Blood Drives in Sacramento and Nevada County.
Utilizing my skills as an Administrative Assistant, I have worked for such fortune 1000 companies as Xerox Corporation, Southern Pacific Railroad, Chesapeak & Ohio Railroad and Thompson Industries. Since the start of the personal computer revolution in the mid 80's, I continued to "stay on top" of computer technology and software.
